The Thursford Christmas Spectacular is the biggest and most popular Christmas show in Britain! Incredibly, the Thursford Christmas Spectacular started as a small scale carol concert in 1977, and now, more than thirty years later, over 80,000 people will flock to see this wonderful pageant of seasonal spectacle and colour from early November until Christmas, with its two shows each day, every day for six weeks.
The show is a brilliant mix of carols, dance, costumes, choirs, bands and entertainers, from the traditional to the modern, all capturing the spirit and magic of Christmas!
The show takes a whole year to organise and this sparkling winter wonderland of glitter, tinsel and lights would not be out of place in any of London’s West End theatres!

Day 1: Meet our coach this morning as we head to our hotel.
We’ll arrive mid-afternoon with a few hours free before and early dinner at the hotel as we have to be comfortably seated for the show at 7pm.
After the show (about 10pm) the coach will be waiting to take you back to the hotel.
Day 2: A hearty breakfast before we leave and on the way home we stop a while in Stamford - one of England’s most perfectly preserved Georgian towns or Peterborough with its lovely Cathedral and pedestrian areas.
