GBTours’ ‘GET-TOGETHER’ as we take over the Durrant House hotel in Bideford, north Devon.
Meet old friends, make new ones, compare notes! There’s lots of fun, entertainment, good food and nice trips out - all wrapped up in the camaraderie of like-minded folk.

Monday: We arrive at our hotel this afternoon to a welcome Cuppa! Then later, the first of 4 evenings kicks off with a complimentary glass of Fizz to get us in the mood
Tuesday: A morning visit to Barnstaple - the main town of north Devon, where we recommend you call into the town’s historic indoor Pannier Market – largely unchanged in 150 years.
Next, a scenic drive through the Devon landscape to National Trust property Knightshayes Court - a spectacular Gothic revival Victorian country house with acres of glorious gardens.
Wednesday: We snake through the west of Exmoor and stop at the twin coastal villages of Lynton and Lynmouth – connected by the world’s steepest water-powered railway; a ticket to ride is included.
This afternoon, we visit the world-famous Dartington Crystal where all that glass-blowing will keep you warm and we’ll finish in Dartington with a Devon cream tea before we go back to our hotel.
Thursday: A day to yourself to relax in the hotel or get the bus into town but do come back for this afternoon’s jolly tea dance with cream tea. If you don’t fancy the Foxtrot – just enjoy the Scones!
Although dancing is purely optional, our professional dance hosts will be on hand to provide an upbeat and entertaining tea dance, with Ballroom, Latin and Sequence/Party numbers to ensure a lively and enjoyable afternoon.
After a last dinner this evening there’s a bit of a knees-up – a party atmosphere with fancy dress optional! Go on – it’s the last night!
Friday: Sadly, the fun is over, and we head for home after breakfast.
Note: Knightshayes Court can’t take 5 coaches on the same day so some coaches will visit on different days.
