Day 1: Join our coach this morning for our journey down to Cornwall. With one or two comfort stops on the way, we arrive at our hotel this afternoon. There’s good time to check in and get settled into your en-suite room and explore the hotel before dinner this evening.
Day 2: After breakfast you board the coach for a trip to Truro - a small, bustling city that’s easy to get around, with lots of character and interesting things to see. From the flowing rivers to the picturesque Georgian streets, the 18th and 19th Century town houses and the magnificent Victorian Cathedral that dominates the city.
Day 3: Today we visit the fishing village of Padstow. Padstow is full of Cornish charm - a quaint quayside with colourful fishing boats and narrow cobbled streets with cosy pubs, tea rooms and small shops selling local crafts, art, and locally produced food.
After a while in Padstow we head a little further up the coast to the village of Tintagel - where you will find numerous shops, tea shops and cosy Pubs. According to legend, King Arthur was said to be born on Tintagel Island where the remains of the 13th century Castle stand today.
Day 4: After a last, hearty breakfast we bid farewell for home.
